Youth
A group of young people that love Jesus; encounters and moves with the Holy Spirit. Has amazing praise and worship. Teaching the Word of God and to discover and use what gifts God has given to them. Where young people can belong and arise.
Encouraging one another, empowering them in their faith and equipping them into being Disciples for Jesus.
We meet on a Friday night from 7pm until 9pm, aged from 13 to 18 or Years 7 to 12. Where we have food, fun and games, praise and worship, teaching and prayer.
Jesus Kids
We are passionate about creating the best environment possible for your kids. We love seeing children engaged, and in awe of God’s wonder as they learn about who Jesus is and all that He has promised!
Our Kids Church curriculum is selected each term to encompass chances for each child to learn who God is through Bible stories and creative activities.
Each member of Kids Church spends time working out the best activities each Sunday.
Applications for life
As a church we have the God-given responsibility to grow strong disciples of Jesus Christ who know how to apply God’s Word in our lives and to faithfully live out what the bible says. We also believe that it is important to ‘equip the saints for the work of the ministry’ (Ephesians 4:12a) These are the purposes of Applications for Life!
We come together at the church to fellowship, worship and sit under God’s Word, enjoying teaching from the wide range of gifted teachers that God has placed in our church, and also participating in social events such as movies and outings.
Applications for Life is a little like a large Home Fellowship Group, where there are opportunities to learn, grow, discuss, pray, celebrate and move in the spiritual gifts. It is a safe place to share life’s journey, receive ministry, and testify to God’s goodness.
It’s an exciting, fun, strengthening time where we learn how to live the supernatural life of the Kingdom!
Missions
As a church we are excited to be involved in the Great Commission as laid out in Mark 16:15, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
Our response to this begins with the church tithing its income to the following organizations that reach out in the name of Christ:-
Locally :- Seaford Ecumenical Mission (helping the disadvantaged in our local community)
Nationally :- Teen Challenge
Internationally :- Open Doors
Love SA :- ACC’s State Church Planting strategy
We also encourage people to be involved in Samaritan’s Purse, contributing to Operation Christmas Child. We are actively preparing to send teams out into the mission field on short term mission, and to implement local evangelism teams for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
Our passion is to see and equip God’s people to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ into all the world.
Community
Prayer Pods - Pods of people 2-5 who come together weekly and lift up the needs of the church and pray into the future of our church, nation and world.
We believe in the power of prayer
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
James 5:16 NKJV
“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
